Challenge
Dentyne needed to spread the word about their newly launched Mouth to Mouth Certification Campaign. The campaign introduced augmented reality to its packs which allowed users to interact with the website via a bar code. One of the solutions was to drive people from the existing Facebook community to the new site with its interesting use of technology.
Solution
The Facebook component of the campaign was primarily a contest that invited users to create 'packs of pals' by attaching friends to each of the 5 different flavour packs. This application allowed users to submit 5 packs a day to the contest and display the packs in a contest leaderboard. A winner was chosen and given a year's supply worth of gum.
