Challenge
- Ipsos Reid Interactive, one of the world's leading survey based marketing research firms, was seeking a way to reward their existing and new survey panelists for their time filling out their online surveys. The incentive or reward system needed to be a seamless but exciting part of the survey experience, encouraging the panelist to continue performing surveys.
Solution
- Poll Predictor was born from the need to have panelists continue to have a chance at rewards once finished a survey and the two connect to eachother. The Poll Predictor which draws on php, xml and flash technologies, allows panelists to predict the way other panelists answered questions on surveys. For instance, 'How many women enjoy watching basketball on tv?' The panelists choses the percentage and if they answer within a certain percentage they are awarded "chances" the can use towards prizes at the end of the game. Ipsos randomly chooses a winner from the chances every month. We predicted that this game would be a winner, and it was!
