PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Chevrolet introduced its “Johnny” advertising strategy to appeal to a younger audience that were looking to buy their first car. They needed online banner ads to direct people to their website. The look had to fit this campaign – keeping a playful and slightly sarcastic feel.


APPROACH

We developed an interactive online banner where users could actually use their mouse to interact with the comical images on the banner. With a wiggle of their mouse the character in the ad would bounce and zig-zag across the banner, creating a very entertaining visual for the user. The overall effect was exactly what Chevrolet was looking for – young, hip, and funny.
