PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Most recently, Lush Concepts has developed sound for another Teen Asthma game called “Mouth Guard.” Again, the goal of the game was to be edifying and entertaining. This game is cheekier than the first two asthma games – the goal is to “shoot down” asthma triggers before they can enter your mouth. Since the concept is slightly wacky and futuristic, the sound needed to follow suit.


APPROACH

Our method was to create a slightly cheesy, over the top, techno loop with lots of reverb and funk. The action-based sound effects included a variety of funny “bleeps” and “bloops” to clarify good and bad moves in the game. The final sound package is effective and comical, while still supporting the educational goals of the client.
