PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The University of Toronto (Mississauga Campus) Centre for Physical Education needed a website that would help them keep in touch with students, staff, and friends who were linked into their community. The catalyst for their re-launch was the grand opening of a new multi-million dollar physical education facility. They needed a site that would engage with their community members and display a great deal of information in a clear and concise manner.
APPROACH
The website we developed for UTM is a prime example of how we will work with you to create a compelling design to meet your goals. Together with UTM, we defined three distinct requirements: first, the site needed to identify and reflect the Centre’s brand; second, the site needed to be in a state where it could be handed over to the Centre’s production team for maintenance; third, the site needed to really connect with the user and display information in a visually appealing manner.
We created a highly interactive Flash navigation system to streamline surfing of the website. We used modern design elements to simplify the look andfeel – while simultaneously improving usability. Finally, we integrated feature areas where the centre could showcase their schedules and membership options.
